Wishes Can Come True!

Making A WishHave you ever made a wish? Did it come true, or is it still waiting for you round the corner?

The thing about wishes is they are like anything else you desire in life, they have to be cultivated. You have to work to make them happen. They can feel like dreams, where they seemingly fall apart and start to drift away. You are left struggling, questioning yourself was it all a pipe dream, did you wish for something unobtainable?

No wish can come true unless you know what you are truly wishing for. No point saying “I’d like to be rich.” or “I want to see the world.” There has to be a plan behind the wish. So you need to plan how you are going to become rich, or plan where in the world you are going and how you are going to get there.

In simple terms there are five points to wishes coming true.

1. Define – What is the wish?
2. Plan – How are you going to make the wish come true?
3. Implement – Now do the doing to make the wish come true.
4. Wait – Patience, not everything happens over night.
5. Wish comes true!

I know this may sound airy fairy to some of you reading this, but wishes can come true. I know this to be true because my girlfriend says so everyday.Β Like anything else in life worth fighting for, they just take a little bit of work though πŸ˜‰

Have I gotten around to talking about SMART goals with you yet? You better get round here sometime if not!

Wishes and dreams are simply goals without form and planning – spot on Stu. So here’s to some short term goals falling into place today.

Well stu although most of your posts do sound like a business planning seminar, I still do find myself strangely drawn to reading some of your posts.

This one in particular drew my attention as I for one and full of said wishes. I agree with you on most thing to require a plan of action to obtain them, but also in the same breath a handful of others are down not only to human nature but tend to hit you like a lightning bolt both good and bad.

So in a nutshell I think that destiny fate or somethings in life are somewhat better left to chance and somewhat after which you may feel a little more gratified with the result

Well I do try and keep it very business like here as that is my ‘wish’ πŸ˜‰

I like the fact that you mention somethings are better left to chance due to the gratification you get from a surprise. There is a certain good feeling that comes from the unexpected good things in life yes!

We should all cherish every bit of goodness that comes our way and take note of the unexpected being just as much as the things we wish for.
